Understanding your people's differing needs

The change brought about by the COVID-19 crisis has taken everyone by surprise. As organisations have scrambled to adapt, many have taken a one-size-fits-all approach to supporting their people.

We’ve been working with our clients to help them understand that a more strategic approach could help to better meet the needs of their workforce at this challenging time.

A straightforward way of doing this is to assess the needs of your workforce by age - an example of this can be seen in the graph accompanying this post. It is a general approach and may not capture everyone but it will allow for a more nuanced picture of what different people across your organisation require at the present time.
